So saddened to hear this and deepest sympathy to the family and community. I admired him for his stance to protect his community at the onset of coronavirus, just as the mayor of Beaufort did, even though he probably knew it would disgruntle some folks.

Does the health department staff monitor the temperature of the COVID-19 patient before coming out of isolation? Is that person being retested before they come out of isolation?There could be some individuals eager to get out and would say they no longer have the temperature. It sounds li…

...and also lack of masks of some standing in line waiting to get in and lack of a mask by the one lady in the store in top photograph. Didn't the article state they were giving out masks on Monday? I wonder how they're cleaning the dishes and clothes after folks have coughed and sneezed …

Great! I'm not sure how many times Carteret has received an "A" but Carolina East has received an "A" four times in a row.

It can't help but be noticed that only the clerk and one shopper are wearing masks.

I wonder how many "visitors" will bring their own toilet paper and supplies. The grocery store shelves will be more depleted than they already are. I guess we permanent residents will have to use leaves or grocery store circulars to wipe our derrierres.
