Passenger ferry nears completion

US Workboats started building a passenger ferry at its Hubert boat plant for the N.C. Department of Transportation back in 2018. But following a few snags, including a lawsuit, Waterline Systems took on the project and is responsible for getting the first state ferry of its kind in the water.
