HICKORY (AP) — Two people are wanted in connection with a shooting death at a North Carolina furniture store, police said.

Hickory police said in a news release that Phelifia Michele Marlow, 51, was shot in the head and killed around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday as workers at the furniture store ran after hearing the first of two gunshots.

According to police, Tangela L. Parker is wanted for first-degree murder and Eric Parker is wanted for accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. Police consider the suspects, both from Alexander County, as armed and dangerous.

The Hickory Record quotes an eyewitness to the shooting as saying the two women had been involved in an argument last week and that Parker had been sent home as a result.
