If elected president, Hillary Clinton would press for a “hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders.”
How do we know?
Because in 2013 she told investors of a Brazilian bank, Banco Itau, that an America without borders is her dream.
And she told bankers on Wall Street and executives of major corporations the same thing that year and again in 2014
How do we know?
Because a WikiLeaks trove of some 2,060 emails from John Podesta, her campaign chairman, says so. They reveal some of the words she used to address the bankers — always in private, never in public.
In the Chicago Tribune Tuesday, John Kass explained why this is important:
“An America without borders, Hillary? How positively George Soros of you, Madam Secretary.
“My dream,” he quotes her saying, “is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders, sometime in the future with energy that’s as green and sustainable as we can get it, powering growth and opportunity for every person in the hemisphere.”
“Here’s the thing about borders,” continued Mr. Kass. “If you don’t have borders, you don’t have a country. Americans are beginning to understand this. Europeans understand it now, quite clearly.
“Clinton’s dream also includes a Western Hemispheric common market, like the European common market that is dissolving in chaos, fear and debt.” He adds: “If that is indeed her dream, then she dreams the internationalist dream that would end America.
Said Jim Geraghty in his “Morning Jolt” column Wednesday on National Review Online: “Do we want to become the American equivalent of the European Union? If that is Hillary’s dream, why is she not campaigning on ‘open trade and open borders’? Does she only reveal her dream when she’s speaking behind closed doors to Brazilian bankers?”
Charles Gasparino said in the New York Post: “The (true) story that Hillary Clinton is a liar on issues big and small, that she uses half-truths, deceptions and dissembling to cover up her reprobate behavior is an old one.”
For speaking to the Wall Street bankers and the corporate executives, Investor’s Business Daily said Mrs. Clinton netted $22 million in “speaking fees.” Which is very nice work for a charlatan — a fraud, a swindler and a pretender — all of which she is, in addition to being a liar.
Saying her speaking fees “reveal that while publicly pretending to sympathize with Occupy Wall Street and other far-left groups, Clinton was in fact quite cozy with the people she supposedly reviled,” IBD said excerpts of her speech show little confusion on her part — just pure, rank hypocrisy.
“Speaking to the powerful investment bankers and industrialists, she noted how it was important for a politician to have a ‘public’ stance and a ‘private stance on some key issues,” continued IBD.
In a 2013 speech to the National Multi-Housing Council she said, “I mean, politics is like sausage being made. If everybody’s watching, you know, all of the backroom discussions and the deals, you know, then people get a little nervous, to say the least. So you need both a public and a private position.”
Which is an excellent example of hypocrisy — a Hillary Clinton trait.
The title of her talks to bankers such as Goldman Sachs was, said IBD, “Clinton Talks About Holding Wall Street Accountable Only for Political Reasons.”
Other titles of her speeches were “Clinton Suggests Wall Street Insiders Are What is Needed to Fix Wall Street,” “Clinton Touts Her Relationship to Wall Street as a Senator,” and “Clinton Is More Favorable to Canadian Health Care and Single Payer.”
American voters don’t want open borders or anything akin to a European Union common market. But Hillary Clinton does.
Hillary Clinton would tear America down. She is totally unfit to be president.
Donald Trump is the anti-establishment candidate. He’s not politically correct, and he’s not running for saint. He’s running to Make America Great Again. Elect him and he will.
