A veteran entertains at The Pug

Ben Licko of Swansboro took the microphone for a rousing rendition of “The Marine Corps Hymn” on Sunday, May 26, invited to the stage by Gary Lowder and members of Smokin’ Hot. Licko was singled out by Lowder in honor of Memorial Day. Smokin’ Hot performed on the Harry C. Pugliese Jr. Pavilion Stage at Olde Towne Square, kicking off the series of SwanFest Sunday concerts presented by Seaside Arts Council. Revolution, a Beatles tribute band, will play Sunday, June 2, 6:30-8 p.m. (Photo contributed)
