Graham Corley

Graham Corley, 83, of Newport, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019, at his home.

His service is at 2 p.m. today at Faith Evangelical Bible Church with the Rev. David Van Der Decker officiating. Interment will follow at Ameriah Garner Cemetery.

Graham was a member of Faith Evangelical Bible Church. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Eastern Airline after almost 30 years. Graham moved to Carteret County and married Fran. He enjoyed dealing in military surplus and antiques and was skilled with his hands and building with his hands. He will be remembered for his sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Frances “Fran” Corley; son, Eddie Corley and wife Vickie of Sandston, Va.; and grandchildren, E.J. Corley of Richmond, Va., and Michael Corley of Mechanicsville, Va.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Corley and Gladys Butler Corley; and a daughter, Ann Marie Hensley.
