Leslie “Les” Drew Feagle III, 78, of Midway Park, died Thursday, Nov. 5, at Onslow Memorial Hospital. He has family in Carteret County.

A funeral service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with military honors and Masonic rites.

Mr. Feagle retired as a master gunnery sergent with the U.S. Marine Corps and was a retired realtor with Century 21 American Properties of Jacksonville. He was also a member of Franklin Masonic Lodge 109 AF&AM in Beaufort.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Madeleine Feagle of Midway Park; one daughter, Marti Feagle Johnson and husband Leonard of Cape Carteret; two sons, retired Lt. Col. Randy Drew Feagle and wife Brenda of Beaufort and Steven Feagle and wife Emily of Jacksonville; two sisters, Sarah and Billy, both of Florida; four brothers Robert, Roy, Odell and Alonzo, all of Florida; one granddaughter, Lian and husband Staff Sgt. Anthony Donato of Swansboro; one grandson, Spc. Daniel Drew Feagle of Beaufort; and one great grandson, Holden Dubroc of Swansboro.

Les was preceded in death by his parents, L.D. Feagle Jr and Ruth Landrum Schreus, and a sister, Eleanor Garrett.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at Jones Funeral Home.

Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville.
