Terry Woodrow Holt, 81, of Morehead City, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at his home surrounded by family.

His service with military honors is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bayview Cemetery in Morehead City with Pastor Jack Mumford officiating.

Terry served in the U.S. Marine Corps for more than 14 years and was a Vietnam veteran. After the military, he worked at the Naval Depot aboard Marine Corps Air Station Chery Point and retired after 39.5 years.

Terry is survived by his wife of 24 years, Edith Holt of the home; daughters, Suzanne Holt Druger and husband Robert of Manilus, N.Y., and Judy Holt Hipple and husband David of Lititz, Pa.; stepsons, John Riggs of New Bern and Carl Griffith of Hillsboro; stepdaughter, Jenny Griffith of Raleigh; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Holt and wife Dorothy of Spring Dale, Ariz.; and first wife, Ruth Holt of New York.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Dessie Holt; brother, James David Holt; sister, Darlene Holt; stepson Charles Timothy Riggs; and wife, Betty Marie Holt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to Otway Christian Church, 242 Gillikin Road, Beaufort, NC 28516.
