Rush Limbaugh reads 'News-Times' letter to the editor on air

(Editor's note: Rush Limbaugh read the following letter, titled "More modern way of living," on “The Rush Limbaugh Show” Feb. 15. The letter was originally published in the Carteret County News-Times on Jan. 23. It went viral on the Web after a reader linked it to a Fox News Facebook page.)

Beaufort, N.C.

Jan. 17, 2013

Republicans and “so-called” conservatives are at it again. They are claiming that the Constitution gives people the right to have guns without the permission of the government. If that were true, then how could New York and Chicago have laws against it?

We Democrats are sick and tired of Republicans constantly using the Constitution to cover up their true plans, which are to make us all afraid of everyone else. Our great president came from a civilized part of the country where there is strict gun control, and he is only trying to bring the benefits of that more modern way of living to the rest of us. I don’t know the exact statistics, but I’m quite certain that Chicago is a lot safer that Morehead City, when it comes to gun violence.

But do Republicans and conservatives listen to the voice of reason? No, of course not. All they want to do is whine and complain about how gun control and wealth redistribution violate the Constitution, as if the Constitution were all that great, anyway. There are a lot of things that need to be changed about the Constitution, I’d say, and President Obama needs to change it.

The Republicans are just trying to stand in the way, because the president is black. They even dared to question whether he was born in this country. I think all this demonstrates that the Constitution needs to be amended when it comes to the qualifications for being president. Right now, it says that a person has to be 35 years old and be a natural born citizen. Well, that is obviously unfair because there are a great many otherwise qualified people who cannot run for president because their mothers had to have a C-section.  But because the Constitution was written a hundred years ago, nobody even thought of the discrimination that would result from a doctor having to deliver a baby in this unnatural way. Now that we Democrats are in control of the government, that’s just one more thing we should change in our drive to make life fair.

Please withhold my name because I don’t want to get crank calls.

Scrambled brains wrote that letter. OUR White House is being run by some GODless people and some GODless people in congress who are marching our great United States of America to destruction. GOD has blessed this country because we have always honored him and I can feel his anger heating up the heavens. Scrambled brains, maybe that is why we are "supposedly" having climate change? Bet you did not think of that, did you?

Lets have a reality check folks.
This letter was NOT written by a Democrat.
It was written by a Republican.
The Editors know the name of this individual. How about matching the name against the registered voting lists, and we will see which party he is affiliated with.
    Then, the truth shall prevail.

The proud Democrat's friends are so embarrassed by his stupidity that they pretend it must be a fake letter. YouTube has countless examples of other Democrats saying even STUPIDER things. In fact, The One, Barack Obama has proclaimed that he has "been to 57 states," that Bush was "unpatriotic" for raising our debt ceiling and then doing much worse himself, and on and on.
Obama is the most narcissistic, hypocritical, incompetent president in our history by far. Pretending to be "green," he burns hundreds of thousands of gallons of fuel to take his family to Hawaii every Christmas, to play golf with Tiger Woods, and even to plant a single tree in the midwest.

Obama should be in prison for a variety of reasons.

Since the person didn't put their name in this letter, there is no way to determine it's veracity, but can you honestly tell me that in a world of people who say "I'm here to get my obama money that he keeps in his stash" and "I'm voting for obama because he gave me a phone" and "obama's going to pay my house payment and buy my gas" ~ you HONESTLY think this letter couldn't POSSIBLY be real?
I think the joke's on the people who blindly believe in the current inhabitant of the White House, regardless of who wrote this letter.

Hello: When I read this, it seemed to me that the writer intended it to be a hoax. None the less, the editor who was responsible for its publication should be held accountable, as any 'letter to the editor' ought to be signed, and that signature subject to public scrutiny.
I, also, can't help but wonder if the originator of this 'letter' is also proud to be an idiot, as well as a Democrat?

Come on people. You can't REALLY be this stupid, can you?

The ironic thing about this is that it started out as a lame attempt to make liberals look stupid, and in the end, its the suckers who fell for it and actually thought this was real who end up being the dumb ones. This includes Rush and all the other commenters here who believe this letter is genuine.

This is so obviously a spoof to anyone with over a 4th grade education, that it really makes you understand how the conservative mind can continually fall for such ridiculous nonsense.

[scared] It is a sad day when someone allowed to vote comes up with trash like this.
Obama comes from a city famous for gun violence and crime. Remember Al Capone? Read the daily news crime and gun violence is still in the fore front.
Bless your heart you are afraid of prank calls? You should be worried about more than that with a socialist in the White House.
Why do you Democrats always yell about him being black so what.
I wanted Herman Cain in the White House and I believe he is black but no he wouldn't do because he was right and you can't stand that.
I don't care about the color of his skin but the color of his politics and Obama's are red now Red White and Blue.

ok now I read this, and well nothing that comes out of the mouth or pen of a democrat surprises me anymore. that is until I read some of the comments here. the dems here want to write this off a as a joke or a right wing nut trying to make a point against the left, as if we need to lie or distort fact like say Sarah Brady does to prove our points. so my first post here is to say show me the money or in this case the proof that this is a hoax. site sources and evidence please as I have not found anything to support the claims of this being a hoax. of course no one will produce any evidence. its just like asking them to site their sources for what is and is not an assault rifle. they cant do it because if they do they automatically get boxed in and cornered. please any dems out there reading this go ahead and try me on this issue. next I will bash the democrat for being stupid, which really isn’t that difficult. 1. he states, "They are claiming that the Constitution gives people the right to have guns without the permission of the government. If that were true, then how could New York and Chicago have laws against it?" A. well technically he is right the constitution does not give us the right to own guns, they are god given rights or if your not religious, derived from your humanity. that and the fact that the 2nd amendment to the constitution is part of the bill of rights. 2. "Our great president came from a civilized part of the country where there is strict gun control, and he is only trying to bring the benefits of that more modern way of living to the rest of us" A. In 2012 Chicago has the highest murder rate in the country, 506 murders related to firearms. ironically according to both army and navy times, the us military lost 345 troops to gun fire in Afghanistan in 2012. so the benefits of more modern way of living is more murder on the streets of the U.S. than in a combat zone. good call! 3. "There are a lot of things that need to be changed about the Constitution, I’d say, and President Obama needs to change it. " A. hey moron, the president does not and can not change the constitution without going through the amendment process. not even an executive order can do that, it is called separation of powers and it is in the constitution. not to mention it is the constitution and bill of rights that allows for even the dumbest of us, who and what this person is, to speak our minds. I was going to continue to bash this idiot, but to do so is tedious and boring. besides I will not even touch his idea of natural born citizen. the scotus has already stated what that means and they did so long after cesarean sections were made legal. In closing, do I think this is a fake. God I hope so, but in truth I don’t believe it to be. Why because some of the things said by democrats and republicans (I’m an independent) are just as stupid, unfounded, not supported by professionals, and just plain outright lies. So think for yourselves, get real advice, do research on your own, and have the courage to question ALL AUTHORITY. You will be amazed at what you find and how it is opposite of what you believe, example. Define assault rifles and state source of information. Because the political action group definition used by the gun grabbers is a bit different and in stark contrast to the definition used by us professionals here at FT. Bragg. ps i cant stand rush (word removed by editor) either....

DC doesn't like that when you actually let todays republican party talk out loud that it's like a comedy routine .

What DC does like is a Republican having to put words in the mouth of the left to make a funny or left sound stupid.

I saw this when it was first published. I couldn't believe there was a Democrat that stupid in the whole county. Then I thought of a couple, but quickly dismissed it as having been written as a joke. The only way that it may be true is that the editor of the paper knows who submitted it and must have gived it some credibility as all submissions require a name.

I just must be ignorant I guess but I am so sick and tired of everyone pointing fingers at each other over who's fault this issue is. It's all of our fault, we are the ones who keep putting these idiots in office, no matter what party, race or sex. Until we figure out that problem the world as we know it will get worse, and for the author of this letter to say Chicago is safer than Morehead City, must be one of those stupid politicians. I believe just the other night I saw on national geographic where Chicago led the country once again in homicides with almost 500. Last time I checked Morehead was no where near that number. I would also be willing to bet that the weapons used were firearms and they were used by NON-LAW ABIDING CITIZENS. Those are the people WE need to go after not the people who carry the gun because of the fear they have of being VICTIMS!

One last thing, Lockwood Phillips has acknowledged that the above letter was written by a right wing satirist, in order to bash the political left and to gain attention to this newspaper. Shame he could not have done a responsible article about the damage to the coast and the reduction of the drinking water supply in Carteret as a result of using the water supply for fracking and the pollution that will result in the ground water, if fracking is done in the county. Instead, we have political hacksmanship and a waste of paper, ink, and internet bandwidth by people who only wish to promote cowardice, hate and bigotry. And yes, this is signed by Jimmy Gay.

My misspelling of the word "addition" was not intentional. I am human and I make mistakes. Unlike most of those on the political right, as a person who is on the political left, I will acknowledge my mistakes and try to correct them. If the political right tried to do this, perhaps they might win to the presidency next time. Based on the lack of message by Marco Rubio or any goals other than stop Obama, it seems they will not be winning the presidency anytime this century. Or for that matter, the next century.

First, the editorial staff and publisher demonstrated, both previously and now, their total lack of professionalism by printing any letter that is "anonymous'. It has been my experience that those who wish to remain anonymous on any side are actually total cowards who do not want to accept any responsibility for their words and actions. My name is Jimmy Gay and I live in Jacksonville NC. I post my picture on my e mail and facebook, which is under my name, but for some reason I have no control of, it does not appear here. In afddition, this does display how one group present something in right wing media and it gets passed on to the loudmouths like Rush Limbauggh, spelling intended, who then use it to continue their tirades against those they are too cowardly to face in person.

"It is the biggest bang for the buck when you do food stamps and unemployment insurance. The biggest bang for the buck,"

    Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid
Reid believes domestic violence has increased in Nevada because males are out of work?

Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid apologized on Saturday for saying the race of Barack Obama – whom he described as a "light skinned" African-American "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one"

    President Obama
I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.

    Vice President Joe Biden

First of all it is that Constitution that you want to change that gives you the right to say such ludicrist things. You sound like that commercial where the woman tells her neighber the internet can't put anything on it that isn't true and then her French modle (ha ha) comes to take her on a date she met on the internet. Now to get serious! You have got to be kidding? The Federal government is to be overseers not dictators. Without the guidlines of the Constitution we would be in total upheaval. Which seems where we are headed since the last administration took office. This country is founded "by the people; of the people; and for the people". The color of his skin has nothing to do with anything. Why did it take him two years to get his birth certificate? Just one more thing; so you think the criminals are the only ones who should be allowed to have guns? Because they will and more violance will break out. Like I said in the beginning; You have got to be kidding me~
OOPS! Why should people who have worked hard and earned the money give the government more than anyone so the government can miss use it? You can't get out of debt by going deeper in debt. Moronic~

So one of the items the writer is raging against is the fact that a person can't be President of the United States because of having been born by a C-Section instead of a natural born citizen. No doubt the letter was written with the character Emily Litella, late of Saturday Night Live fame, in mind. Ms. Litella was the always speaking in malapropisms against societal causes of the mid 70's (no Canker Research!, the Deaf Penalty, The Eagle Rights Amendment). But then again maybe it was written by a not so bright person who believes a person should be president in spite of the fact they were born by C-Section instead of being born natural. If that's the case, there really is no hope for this moron and then I just have two words to say to that...."Never Mind."

This "letter" is so wrong on so many levers that it is hard to know where to start. First, the Constitution grants no rights whatsoever. It quite simply outlines the Natural Rights all men have as granted by God. Furthermore, It is a limitation on the powers of the federal government. It is not and was never meant to be a restriction on individual or stares rights. The rest of this letter hurts my eyes so bad that I must question if the writer's IQ is even up to room temp. It is proof that liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.

[wink] Ok, I did laugh when a friend passed this letter on to me. But, wait...... Having viewed the exit polls after the first and second election of the O Bomb, yes friends, there are Democrats that are that ignorant, (ie, DUMB) They either voted by color or by entitlement. When you have almost half of the nation paying NO income tax ( and some of these are indeed "rich folks") and 47% on some form of government assistance, they do not want that gravy train to ever end! Having taught high school in Vance county for over 8 years, it was apparent that most of the residents do not have jobs, but they do have income. An example of this is the mother that ferried 3 of her kids to school in a new Toyota Sequoia, not the school bus. She had no "job." Yet she was driving a car that costs at least $45,000. Oh, the kids were classified as "special needs" and each received a monthly check from the government for around $750. This type of tripe goes on all the time and if someone says anything, they are viewed as racists. This behavior is spreading around our country and pretty soon there will indeed be more Chiefs than there are Indians to support them. (Sorry if I insulted any Native Americans that may read this.) When that point is reached, WATCH OUT! Then you will hope the 2nd Amendment is still there.

We are all in the same boat! I met an American from Hawaii who's grandson went to the school with you knOw whO.. So - then what about his father or Romney's father for that matter . Neither are eligible.

    Yet we are here.
In the boat of an economy that needs:
    less gov,
    less tax,
    less corruption
    More jobs
    More enterprise
    More Commerce

and more innovation and ingenuity, more leaders to more people connecting to be people of character and integrity to a purpose for a higher cause and accountability for a greater good locally and internationally because the boat just got bigger!

I think this Governor has something to say about all of that.

....versus a reader who don't know jack about Windy City corruption to that dude as a leader who has blamed everyone but himself and the administration he picked and the team of guys and gals who have voted recklessly on both sides of the aisles while still banking on - cashing in on their privileges at the expense of Freedom and Liberty!

So step up and do more than vote at the polls - vote with your feet and make each step count for something more than what you get immediately and locally. So lets ban together and stop us and the media giants from wagging the dog!

Can't believe I'm responding to a responder who can't believe anyone would respond to an obvious prank who some responders don't believe was necessarily a prank but this responder does believe it was probably to get responders to respond to something that some responders couldn't believe others would respond to even though they decided that they should respond and tell others that they should not be responding because only they were intelligent enough to make decisions about responding. Please respond if you think you have a need to respond to something this foolish.

It's a sad day in America when you have nothing else better to do than to just create more ignorance for the world to feed from... What a waste of time to even see this on paper!!! Weird!!!

[tongue] This has got to be the funniest letter I have ever seen printed in a newspaper. I almost Peed my pants reading this, it is hilarious . We'll what can I say? The Democrats are now in power and they are of the caliber of the writer of this letter. We're in trouble folks. We have a mind set leading this country that doesn't have a clue, not to mention they are absolutely ignorant on American History. God Help Us.

I would say this is satire, but it is not clever, and therefore think the person was being completely serious. Not to mention if you debate with enough left leaning individuals, you find that they fall into one of two categories. They are either intellectuals whom have a "worship of unreason", or they are incredibly uneducated about the issues, and stick to talking points. I have actually spoken to Dems who sound exactly like this. Other than the natural born citizen line. The Democrats love the gun laws in Chicago. Yes, they are that stupid.

I'd give this a C+ for effort, but it is an excellent example of why conservatives shouldn't attempt satire. They just don't have the necessary wit and grossly overestimate the intelligence of their audience. Case in point: @DDrabbit below. This poor guy is taking the "artical" (sic) seriously, and appears to be working himself into a lather, he's so danged upset. What's more, he's dispensing advice on education when he can't even string together a coherent thought or understand how spell check works (hint: when a word you type is misspelled, a red line appears beneath. Welcome to the digital age). Sadly, DDrabbit's not the only one; many others appear to take this letter quite seriously. The reply posts are funnier than the letter itself. But I digress. Back to my point: conservative satire is rare, and only P.J. O'Rourke seems to have mastered it. Fox News is funny, but it's entirely unintentional. Maybe y'all (accepted contraction of "you'" and "all" for the rest of the English-speaking world) should stick to Larry the Cable Guy as the high watermark of comedy in your little corner of "Amurica." Good luck, and may Gawd bless yore little hearts.

Dear "A real Democrate", democrates really are that dumb. Just listen to REPRESENTATIVE Gwen Moore from Milwaukee WI.

Seriously, this woman has represented Milwaukee since 2005 and was just re-elected in 2012.

It's terribly embarassing, since I used to live in Milwaukee County.....fortunately, I can claim I moved out prior to 2005 and found better representation by moving to the rural area where people are far more sane.

    PART I.
Now on to the letter from our esteemed fellow citizen who identifies himself as "PROUD TO BE A DEMOCRAT. (aka. neo-communist if you prefer, but I'll refer to this poster as PTBAD from here on out.

What PTBAD's comments demonstrate is the striking success of two of the goals of the communists and their legions of dupes that profess to be 'teachers" here in the US...(no not all teachers are commies, many are unwitting of their role, some are whitting, and some are not...but non-commie good teachers do exist, albeit sadly drowning in tide of communist propaganda spouted by their ignorant colleagues, administrators and union commissars...these few good teachers should be supported by us all and emulated by others.)

Now back to PTBAD's insightful post and I say insightful because it illustrates a shocking level of ignorance on the part of PTBAD about the Constitution and how a republic functions...and sadly to reiterate for emphasis, a syngersitic and successful application of the principles outlined in goals 17 and 29 above. It's not PTBAD's fault entirely he's merely a lazy product of a subvert educational system. Had he not been maleducated he'd likely not be a one in their right mind would.

    From the Congressional Record:

    17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks. (I'm sure you can guess what the party line must be, read anything by Howard Zinn and you're in the ballpark)

    29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. (..etc, etc, most of the current complaints of the "Neo-Coms" can fit here as well and are in alignment with Communist philosophy and propaganda).

First of all PTBAD just as an FYI, before we get started as you are likely confused on this topic as well, we're a REPUBLIC, not a democracy as you have been trained to believe...Of course the Neo-Coms just love direct democracy because then they can mobilize legions of more useful idiots coupled with voter fraud where needed to ultimately impose tyranny...which is why the Founders in their wisdom said no to simple democracy...they also feared overreach by a repressive General Government (the term they used for the federal gov) hence The Bill of Rights. No ratification of the Constitution would have been possible at the time without this part.

Now PTBAD, the rights outlined in the Bill of Rights in the Constitution - you may wish to read a copy, it doesn't use too many big words- are not "given" to us by ANY government's permission. Our rights as described in the Bill of Rights are derived from Natural Law and Natures God...hence the phrase "God given rights." Under this correct view, the view of the Framers of the Constitution, NO ONE other then God can rescind these basic rights...not you PTBAD, not your pals in the DNC, not President Zero, nor even the states. The Constitution exists in this regard to SECURE these rights for US and even neo-Coms like you!...It does not grant them to us, the rights are pre-existing in all human beings at birth, hence the Founders phrasing "self-evident."

So now in paragraph one of PTBAD's post we see his Alinsky-esque assertion that conservatives are "claiming" the Constitution gives us these rights", you are simply WRONG. We already have these rights, the Constitution merely tells the general(federal) government that it's their job to see to it that no one tries to take them away.

In PTBAD's second paragraph we see more of his Alinksy-esque tactics where he demonizes the opposition while providing no counterarguement to the constitutional position of conservatives. PTBAD's assertions regarding the safety of President Zero's former stomping grounds are so ridiculous that they are easily disproven by even a cursory view of the Chicago crime statistics...the place is the murder capital of the US with respect to criminals shooting each other and innocents...we can see the effects of the restrictive gun laws in action....criminals have guns, use them in crimes and the citizenry who follow the nonsensical laws cannot defend themselves which reduces Chicago to a gun free victim zone...way to go. Thinking people should stay away from Chicago as it's far to dangerous...sadly this once great city will soon come to resemble Beiruit if things don't change.

In 1963 the goals of the American Communist party were read into the Congressional Record

    Congressional Record, Vol. 109 88th Congress, 1st Session Appendix Pages A1-A2842 Jan. 9-May 7, 1963 Reel 12

Needless to say and not mentioned by the current communist controled state "owned" lamestream media has been the endorsement of President Zero by none other than that very same Communist Party of the United States of shocking. All you "democrats" er..Progressives..or perhaps a better term should be "neo-Communists" should be proud of yourselves, you've evolved to the level of "useful idiots" a phrase often attributed to Lennin and Stalin to describe their supporters, but it works anyway. The current democratic party platform espoused by the DNC bares striking similarities to what was read into the Congression record in 1963 with the notable exception of those elements that were highly specific to that time in history. None the less most of the major elements are there. I would encourage anyone to go look it up...oh I forgot most "democrats" are far too lazy for such scholarship and prefer to have their information fed to them by their masters...which leads us to the letter to the editor in question above.

I'll get to that in my next post, consider this a preamble.

One has to give credit to one of the few media sources that actually prints such dribble. They've allowed opposing views and that tells me this paper is more centerline than many of the major news publishers.

It seems the country has been divided by those who support MSNBC or FOXNews and will defend their opinions to the death!

Sadly, the writer does fail to see how many Democrats disagree with the writers view on many of the political issues at hand.

I'm sure the writer, if authentic, and I have to believe it so or else the letter would not have been written in its' manner, is rather uneducated and most likely spewing the same rhetoric they hear from their pals thinking they're smarter than they actually are!

In my opinion those who post such rhetoric anonymously are nothing more than 'gutless wonders' who are too cheap and ashamed to stand up to their opinions. As such...the comment gets the permanent filing in the nearest trash can!

It has become obvious to me that we are currently making policy based on emotion. Science, Social research, published before all of this demonstrates that gun control does not reducer gun violence. Mexico has very tight gun laws, low percentage of citizens owning a gun and 20,000 or more are dead. Switzerland has the highs % or civilians owning guns and the lowest crime rate.A 1994 survey conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that Americans use guns to frighten away intruders who are breaking into their homes about 498,000 times per year, If we are going to make laws that effect the constitution, let us do so based on fact, not emotion. Drugs kill more kids every day, for everyone kill by a fire arm 10 die from a drunk/drugged driver. If, as both British and American studies assure us, gun prohibition has no ascertainable effect upon violence, then it seems that its rationale is revulsion against the handgun as a symbol and antagonism toward the conservative but generally law-abiding people who value that symbol. Such a rationale, however, is no more acceptable than the conservative's argument against homosexuality: "I don't do it and I don't like people who doso it ought to be illegal. Why ACLU is aginst gun contol article “Moreover, civil rights workers' access to firearms for self-defense often caused southern police to preserve the peace, as they would not have done if only the Ku Kluxers had been armed. I remember how Klansmen broke up a series of marches in a Louisiana town with hideous violence and head-bashing while the police looked on in benevolent neutrality. The unarmed marchers' appeals to the [Page 26] governor for state police protection were in vain. After many weeks of heavy injuries to the marchers, a black man shot one of several Klansmen who attacked him with clubs. The state police arrived the next day, and there was no further violence.”

It never ceases to amaze me how the dems never speak from a point of fact. First of all, DA, the Constitution was finalized 226 years ago. The Supreme Court invalidated Chicago and Washington DC's gun prohibition laws as being unconstitutional. This is Us vs. Heller vs. McDonald.

It was just yesterday that the mayor of Chicago spoke about the crime in the city, with 42 people being murdered in the month of January. Don't think their gun laws are working very well there.

Had you been paying attention to the "REAL" news, the Conn. shooter didn't even use the assault weapon that they're trying to ban. But then you NBC sheeple like to have your news filtered and distorted to suit "your" own agendas. Why should the rest of us loose the right to protect ourselves, just to satisfy the psychopathic mentality miserable fools like you harbor.

Over 2.5 million people save themselves from crime each year. Rather than have us change the constitution why don't you just move to Hawaii and live happily ever after. Or better yet, why not just crawl back into the hole you crawled out of.

You should be afraid because its people like you that are easy targets for criminals.

The easiest tip off a right wing extremist wrote this letter is the Chicago reference.

Come on people, the Chicago rhetoric is Hannity, Limbaugh and the rest of the GOP lapdogs way of blaming gun violence on Obama. Somehow they think if they say gun violence and Chcago enough times, it will all be Obama's fault.

Dear God, please let this letter be a hoax! It is too horrible to believe that there are people that stupid voting in this country. The Constitution was written 100 years ago?!? It was adopted in 1787; did this fool fail history or did they fail arithmetic?

Chicago, O's home city, with it's toughest gun laws in the nation in a state with some of the toughest in the nation has a crime rate that's a national scandal; they just had their 44th homicide so far this year, putting the city on track for about 535 murders in 2013. Yeah, that's safe alright.

There's a reason our nation's government and Constitution have survived longer than any other government in existence at the time it was written -- it works. And we can all give thanks that one reason it still exists is that no matter how much ignorant folk like this letter writer and our current President may wish it, the President cannot change it. He does not have that power and if he were to try anyway, well, that's one reason that the 2nd Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights.

We need to stop this left and right stuff, our Government has been playing us for fools for along time. We Americans must stand together and reclaim our country. It will not be pretty but we must do it now. Our Government is ran by the Illuminati and they worship satin and has children sacrifices. please read

She said 80-90% of the House of Representatives and %100 of the Senate belong to the Illuminati.
On Sept. 21, 2008 Mary Anne said that tens of thousands of children will be sacrificed that night (the autumnal equinox) in Illuminati ceremonies. The children are bred for the purpose or kidnapped. Satanists believe they gain power from killing. Often they rip out the heart and eat a piece of it. They prefer it to be still beating. At Easter, they kill adults.`
Both parties are corrupt and we need a massive clean house. Our problem is that THERE IS ILLUMINATI IN BOTH PARTIES AND THEY GOT TO GO NOW. Until we remove them and put them up for treason and remove them all within our country, we will be doomed. ALL LIVING PRESIDENTS WITH MAYBE THE EXCEPTION OF CARTER IS ILLUMINATI, but we need to check closer 90% sure he is not.

All I can say is, "wow!" The "C-section" comment takes this letter over the top! This is a product of our government-run public education system. Get used to seeing more and more of these ignorant posts, unless we get back to educating our children with the truth!

To be fair and accurate it was posted on a FAN run page for the The Five on Fox NOT a Fox news page. As far as the article is concerned, the only person who know if the writer was serious or joking is the writer and whomever he or she shared the intent with. It could be a joke, but then again the writer could be serious.

I understand why you want to have your name withheld. Obama came to us from Chicago, the firearm murder capitol of our country. To compare Morehead to Chicago is a bit of a stretch. Isn't it? When is the last time you actually read the Constitution ? I'll bet you never have. Can't run for Pres. because your mom had to have a c-section? Really? Just where does it say that? When you apply to get a permit to buy a fire arm, you are asking for the Govt. to give you permission to buy a firearm. Don't get it , you are probably a product of government schools. [sad][sad]

This must be someone's joke. Must ridiculous post I believe I've seen, and there's been a few. If it is not a joke this person needs help.
