Beaufort, N.C.

Turnout for the 30th annual Beaufort Music Festival, May 18-19, was one of the highest on record! Each May Beaufort Arts and Music assembles a wide variety of musical genres to perform over two days in our historic downtown. This year’s festival was no exception, with up-and-coming bands spanning Bluegrass, Folk, Americana, good ol’ Rock-n-Roll and even West African dance. All the while, patrons enjoyed our beautiful waterfront, local foods and North Carolina craft beers.

Beaufort Arts and Music thanks this year’s performers for sharing their talents in our small town at this family friendly event. Throughout the year our John Hackney and Grant Golden lined up these fantastic and diverse musical acts while our media and marketing chair Karen Gould got our word out.

We especially appreciate the young artists from the Tiller School 4th and 5th grade for creating the beautiful artwork used to display the band names and the dozens of volunteers who help each year. We also thank the town of Beaufort and the Beaufort Historical Association for continuing to be our gracious host for this event.

The annual Beaufort Music Festival is made possible and kept free by generous donations from our corporate and patron level sponsors. The Beaufort Arts and Music Board of Directors personally thanks all our new and long time sponsors, and recognize our Festival Partner contributors Oceanside Pediatrics, U.S. Foods, Carteret Foot & Ankle, Chick-Fil-A, Geodynamics and Sound Side Medical.

Beyond the music festival, the support of our sponsors enables us to continually improve our mission of enhancing art and music programs in the community and to help foster and cultivate the arts for all ages.
