Wesley Daw, 64, of Beaufort, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City.

His service was today at North River United Methodist Church with Pastor David Jones officiating.

Wesley was a faithful, lifelong member of North River United Methodist Church in Beaufort. He retired after 37 and a half years with the civil service aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point as an HVAC work leader. Wesley is remembered as having a servant’s heart, stewarding his God-given gifts to help anyone whose life encountered his. His love for his family, his savior and the water was evident to anyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Bobbie Daw of Beaufort; daughter, Elizabeth Craft and husband Robbie of McLeansville; a grandson, Wes Craft; and a brother, Leeman Daw Jr. and wife Berta of Beaufort.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leeman and Viola Daw; and a sister, Wendy Bayer.
